Neiman Marcus Popovers

Over the last year or so I have become obsessed with cafe inside Neiman Marcus at the Mall at Short Hills. Occasionally, I meet my in laws there for lunch during the week. It is such a treat! Upon arrival, the servers bring out a small cup of chicken broth, a cheddar cheese mini biscuit, sweet popovers and strawberry butter. I am usually full before the meal even begins. It is amazing!

For my birthday this year, my mother in law surprised me with a copy of the Neiman Marcus Cookbook, which includes the recipe for their famous popovers and strawberry butter, as well as a popover pan! A few weekends ago I decided to make them for a special meal I was hosting. The recipe required few ingredients and was pretty straightforward. The popovers were light and airy. I served them with a selection of store bought jams and butters. So delicious! I will definitely be making these again soon!
