Growing up in Los Angeles, I never had a need for winter clothing or winter accessories. One of the fun benefits of living on the east coast is a new seasonal wardrobe!
Over the past several years, I have invested in several warm and cute winter coats, my black J.Crew parka being one of my all-time favorites. It is such a classic coat that I can wear it with everything. I love to accessorize my coat with a fun scarf and hat. My favorite purchase this holiday season was this pink poof beanie from J.Crew that I scored for 40% off! MAJOR STEAL! It is so fun and super cute!
I decided to pair my pink poof and winter parka with an outfit I scooped up the day after Thanksgiving at Hollister Co. I hadn’t shopped there in years (READ: since high school), but they were having an AMAZING sale! I picked out this velvet slip dress, and layered a basic turtleneck and opaque tights underneath. It is a little too cold here in New Jersey to wear just a dress!
I actually wore this exact outfit on New Years Eve to dinner at Hen of the Wood in Vermont. It was fancy yet comfortable. I got so many compliments on it!
