My Thanksgiving Outfit

Who is getting excited about Thanksgiving?! You know I am! It is by far my FAVORITE holiday of the year. We are traveling out to Los Angeles to spend the holiday with my family. It will be our first time traveling with Nathan. Wish us luck!

Are you here looking for a little Thanksgiving outfit inspiration? Well, you are in luck! This Thanksgiving outfit is one of my favorites! When I think Thanksgiving, I think fall. Fall is for sweaters, leather, and booties!

Originally, I had planned to wear this sweater dress, leather jacket, and congac bootie combination to our family Thanksgiving feast. The sweater dress is very forgiving and comfortable. And you have seen this leather jacket before (see HERE). It was my first BIG purchase with my first real paycheck post-college. They actually have a similar one available right now!

I just looked at the weather for when we are in LA, though, and it will be in the 80s and 90s!!! So…no sweater dress for me. Summer is back! I will definitely still wear a dress though as part of my Thanksgiving outfit, because pants will be too constricting. There is too much turkey, stuffing, and pumpkin bread to eat! No food left behind!

Tomorrow I will be sharing my recipe for roasted spatchcock turkey, along with a few photos of our Friendsgiving 2017 feast!
