All of my favorite things in a food processor. And it is non-dairy to boot!
Ingredients:
Basil
Slivered Almonds
Sea Salt
Fresh Ground Pepper
Garlic, 3 cloves, smashed
EVOO
Directions:
- The basil, garlic, sea salt, fresh ground pepper and silvered almonds go into the food processor first. Pulse it until all of the ingredients are chopped finely. Add parmesan cheese if you so desire.
- Drizzle EVOO into the food processor and pulse until the mixture it is the consistency of a paste.
- Store the pesto in an airtight container such as a Ball Mason Jar. Use on your favorite pasta, as the base to your favorite pizza, as a topping for boneless chicken breast (E’s personal favorite), or as a sauce for a sliced sausage sauté.

Oh my goodness! This looks absolutely incredible. I can’t wait to toss this with some homemade fettuccine, garlic shrimp, and roasted tomatoes.
