On the weekends, we have a little more time at breakfast so we have been making smoothies in our Ninja blender. This mornings smoothie was one of my favorite combinations. It is filled with lots of different fruit and vegetables! Sometimes we add a little peanut butter for some additional protein. Such a healthy way to start the day!
Ingredients:
Banana, 3 ripe
Spinach, handful
Frozen Blueberries, 1 cup
Frozen Whole Strawberries, 1/2 cup
Frozen Blackberries, 1/4 cup
Trader Joe’s Orange Juice
Trader Joe’s Watermelon Juice
Navitas Chia Seeds, 1 teaspoon
Directions:
- Pour the liquid into the blender first.
- Then the frozen fruit.
- Then the greens.
- Pulse until smooth.
- Drink immediately!
