At least once a week, E and I try to have a date night. With my work schedule and his residency schedule, we don’t get to go out as often as we used to. So we make an effort to spend time out with each other. I think it is so important for every married couple to continue to go out on dates. I always try to dress up for date night. I don’t always blow-dry my hair and wear makeup. But for date night, I make it a priority! I have been using my new Herstyler Flat Iron (more to come on that in another post) and I am obsessed!
A few weeks ago, E and I headed to Millburn to grab some dinner at a local pizzeria and see The Accountant. Who doesn’t love Ben Affleck?! As the temperatures cool down here in New Jersey, most of my date night outfits involve jeans. My legs would freeze otherwise!
I am always struggling to find cute long or three quarter sleeved top options that aren’t baggy. I have recently become obsessed with the bell sleeves trend. EVERYONE has been wearing them. It isn’t easy to pull off though. After trying on several tops, I FINALLY purchased this ribbed one. It felt very 70’s and I am totally into that aesthetic right now. It also fit me like a glove. Sometimes a girl wants to show off her curves. This was one of those times!
I may or may not have 8 pair of booties. I have a problem. This pair is one of my oldest pairs. I picked them up years ago at a Vince Camuto outlet store. They were an amazing find! With their stacked heel, they are incredibly comfortable.
Instead of carrying around a huge purse, I threw my essentials – my drivers license, mini wallet with a credit card and some cash, keys and, last but certainly not least, my iPhone – into my Pamela Barsky clutch. Her clutches are so sarcastic and fun. And this one is perfect for me. Who wants to eat vegetables when you could eat macaroni and cheese?!

That bag is absolutely adorable!!! And I can NOT say that I miss the New Jersey winters at all. So happy to be back in my sunny southern California home… 11 years in those winters were enough! LOL!
Lol that clutch purse is probably the cutest, most adorable thing I’ve seen today.
I’ve never heard of her but I’m going to see if they ship their purses 🙂
And your boots are really lovely too, plus you managed to pull off the Bell sleeves just right 🙂
If I would stop eating mac and cheese I could fit into jeans like that. Mmm hmmm.
