Orange is the new black!
Well, maybe not. But it definitely is a fun new color that I have recently added to my wardrobe. I have always been afraid of the color orange because I thought it made me look like the fruit! But when I saw this Reformation dress, I knew I had to try it! And when it arrived, it was love at first sight. First, the material is SO SOFT! It is like you are wearing a chic blanket. Second, it is warm! I wasn’t expecting that at all. Lastly, the color is more of a burnt orange, which reminds me of fall. Who doesn’t want to be wearing the color of the leaves?!
Reformation has recently become my to go-to shop for dresses. They have so many cute options! I love that much of their clothing is made in Downtown Los Angeles and/or is produced by responsible manufacturing partners elsewhere in the United States or abroad using sustainable methods and materials. They are very concerned with our impact on the environment and the world. That is a cause I can get behind! To read more about Reformation and their mission, click HERE.
Since it was 20 degrees the morning we shot this look, a coat, tights, and boots were a MUST. So I layered my favorite coat atop my new dress and threw on my go-to opaque tights. Because it was a little bright, I added a pair of inexpensive, but chic, sunnies. Right now, you can buy two pair of sunnies from 2SeeLife ONLY for $20!
To finish the look, I wore my most comfortable booties. Unfortunately, they are a few years old, but I found several similar styles that I linked below. To dress up the outfit a little bit, I added my Saint Laurent clutch. It is such a classic piece, and I am so happy I scooped it up before it sold out!
I hope this outfit adds a little brightness to your day! We can all use a little extra light and love these days!
