My Happy Place

If you live in Los Angeles or are traveling there anytime in the next 2 months and want to see something fun and different, you MUST check out the Happy Place in Downtown LA. While I was in LA over Thanksgiving, my sister and I went on a lady date to the Happy Place. The name alone made me curious! I found out about it on Instagram and I instantly knew it would be a fun activity for us. It is a series of rooms filled with Instagram-worthy backdrops, activities, and snacks. Thankfully I bought tickets when I did because they sold out really fast!

When we arrived, we were greeted by several cheerful employees who explained what the Happy Place is all about. They also explained that once we left a room inside of the Happy Place, we weren’t allowed to go back. The first room had a life size pair of high heels made out of M&M’s. They were amazing. A preview of all of the craziness to come!

We had anticipated that we would be there for an hour and a half. We ended up spending over two and a half hours wandering and taking pictures. There was so much to see! We patiently waited in line in several of the rooms to take the photos. We wanted to make sure we got the perfect shot!

We loved all of the different rooms, but our favorite was the one with the big pot of gold. It was so fun to jump in! Check out the boomerang below. We also really loved the rooms with confetti. Who wouldn’t love flying confetti everywhere?!
