DISCLOSURE: I have partnered with Raymour & Flanigan and received product in exchange for this post. All opinions expressed here are 100% my own.
So…basically ever since we moved into our house I have been DYING for a new dining room set. When we moved we brought over our dining table and chairs from our apartment, and they just never seemed to really fit our space. The table was too short and the chairs didn’t really match. It has been time to upgrade for a while.
When we were shopping at Raymour & Flanigan last summer (for our sectional couch seen HERE) I FELL IN LOVE with the Prato Dining Armchairs. Those rounded backs and leather seats – OMG. I loved their mid-century modern look and feel. I NEEDED them! While the Prato Dining Table was gorgeous, I knew we needed something that had a leaf in it. We love to host meals and we need the ability to expand the table to accommodate larger groups. I didn’t want to buy the chairs, only to then have to find a dining table that worked with it. As a result, we decided to put all dining room decisions on hold.
Well…ONE YEAR LATER we, with a little help from our friends over at Raymour & Flanigan, finally have our dream dining room. And it came just in time for us to host our FIRST Rosh Hashanah dinner! After HOURS of shopping, we finally found a table that worked perfectly with the chairs. Yes… I made E drag a Prato Dining Chair around the entire Raymour & Flanigan showroom to every single table they had in store. Thankfully, E, Nathan, and the manager we were working with all had an incredible amount of patience throughout this shopping experience. Unlike the Prato Dining Table, the Sheffield Dining Table, with its structured, clean lines, really paired nicely with the arched backs of the Prato chairs and the dark wood and leather.
To complete our dining room set, we were looking for a china cabinet, buffet, or server. In addition to our china, we have a lot of judaica that we need to store/display. Instead of going with a traditional china cabinet, we decided we liked the look of a server or buffet. We fell in love with the Sheffield Server because it looked so incredibly spacious, and it matched the table and chairs perfectly!
While we were there, we also picked out a leather sofa, leather chair, media console and ottoman for our soon to be renovated playroom/man cave! Once completed, we will be sharing all of the details here on the blog. I cannot wait for you to see it!!
One of the main reasons why we love Raymour & Flanigan, besides their great selection of quality furniture at affordable prices, is their guaranteed delivery in three days or less! We placed our order on Sunday afternoon, and we had everything delivered on Wednesday. Talk about speedy!
With Rosh Hashanah only a few short weeks away, it feels great to finally have our dining room all set up and ready to go. We cannot wait to host everyone and celebrate this very special holiday all together in our home!
Thank you Raymour & Flanigan for partnering on this post.
What a gorgeous table! I love the dark wood and the chairs look so incredibly comfortable! I hope that you have a wonderful and Happy New Year ( I know I’m a week early)
What a gorgeous setup! I absolutely love the darker tones for autumn.

This decor is everythingggg. I’m not usually one for darker tones in the home, but I am loving that dining table!
