Happy Bump Day! Hope you are having a great week!
Ever feel like you just don’t want to go shopping at the mall? Well…typically that is not something I ever feel! Over the last three months or so, though, I have not been as motivated to shop at the mall. I have needed a few additional maternity items to wear until bebe W arrives. How have I acquired said items, you may be asking? Through Stitch Fix! A friend mentioned that they carried maternity clothing, so I decided to give it a try.
Stitch Fix is an online styling service. You work with a Personal Stylist (for a small fee of $20 that is applied to what you end up keeping) who hand picks five items based on your sizes and preferences, and sends them directly to your front door! One of the BEST parts about Stitch Fix is that no subscription is required. You can get a Fix delivery ANY TIME YOU WANT (ie. on demand) or on a schedule (every few weeks, once a month, once a season). It is so easy!
When I filled out my style survey I made sure to mention that I needed another good pair of black maternity pants for work. You can NEVER have too many of those if you work in an office while pregnant. My stylist sent over the most comfortable pair of Liverpool skinny black maternity pants, an olive green Lux & Co cowl neck pullover, a purple knit cardigan, and a patterned light dress. After trying everything on, I decided to keep the pants and pullover. I knew they would look great together and I could wear them to work or while out running errands. You are only charged for the pieces you keep and the stylist fee is applied to your total! These pieces were both affordable and have become staples in my maternity wardrobe. I wish I had thought to order a maternity Fix to my door earlier on in my pregnancy!
Here, I styled my Fix outfit with my new favorite pair of sneakers. People have stopped me in the street to ask me where they are from. I think it is because they look like they are designer sneakers! They are amazingly affordable and they are currently on MAJOR SALE.
I finished the look with my new clear every day bag. Initially, I was a little scared to jump on the clear bag trend train. I wasn’t sure I was ready for everyone to see how much of a hot mess my bag typically is. I have since gotten over that fear in favor of being able to easily find my keys, lipgloss, and Nathan’s favorite snack or pacifier. In addition to being super cute, this bag is SUCH A TIMESAVER. And every mom is a hot mess. Some are just better at hiding it than others.
Thank you Stitch Fix for partnering on this post.
