The Friday after the 4th of July, we had a pound of extra ground beef and ground chicken hanging out in the refrigerator. I was at a loss for what to do with it.
Then I remembered that my mom would sometimes make beef kebabs using ground beef and middle eastern seasoning. I had some shawarma seasoning in my pantry, so I decided to give it a try. The kebabs took about three minutes to prepare and another ten minutes to grill. Dinner in less than fifteen minutes. Talk about an easy recipe! And they were a HUGE hit with the family! The shawarma seasoning really packs a BIG flavor punch. I served them with garlic hummus, and it was the perfect dinner. We will definitely be making these again very soon.
