The rule is that you are not supposed to wear white pants after Labor Day. Well, I say SCREW THE RULES! I am ALL ABOUT wearing white pants after Labor Day. Well, that is when I am brave enough to wear them around the kids, anyway! Isn’t that why bleach exists?!
I picked up these white jeans at the beginning of the summer at one of my favorite boutiques, Sadie James, in Fair Haven, New Jersey. Chelsea, the owner of Sadie James, always carries such amazing pieces. I went down to the shop a few weekends ago and picked up a few new pieces for fall. I cannot wait to share them on the blog soon!
I basically LIVE in jeans and tee shirts when I am not at work. Here I paired my white jeans with a basic v-neck tee from Everlane. Everlane is my GO-TO for all basic tees. I recently stocked up on some new short sleeve and long sleeve tees for fall and winter. Everlane tees are affordable, wash really well, and are ethically made. This particular tee is a size larger then my normal size because I bought it to wear while pregnant with Nora, hence the slight bagginess. I really love the color though, so I still wear it all the time.
I really liked how the mustard yellow paired with this bright pink furry sweater, so I added it to my outfit at the last minute. It is a new addition to my closet for fall. I typically don’t buy much pink, but this sweater was calling my name! I am ALL about the furry sweater this season.
I finished the look with my camo Rothy’s. Rothy’s are as comfortable as people say they are. I wear them ALL THE TIME! I was a little nervous to buy a patterned pair as my first, but I haven’t really had an issue finding ways to wear them. I have since added a basic black pair to my closet as well!
If you are debating whether or not to wear those white pants of yours, I say GO FOR IT! Otherwise they will be all dusty by next summer, and who wants that?!
