So…I actually wore this entire outfit to work a few weeks ago. Not sure how I (mostly) got away with it, but I did. It is definitely a little more of a “going out” outfit than a work outfit, but I was feeling bold and I went for it. I just couldn’t resist pairing leopard with my faux leather leggings. Only one person called me out for it. And they know who they are!
I LOVE my faux leather leggings. I should write an ode to them. That is how much I love them. You have seen them featured on the blog before (see HERE and HERE). I bought my first pair a few years ago during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. I have since added three additional pairs to my closet in a variety of colors and patterns. I even bought a maternity pair because I NEEDED to be able to wear them throughout my pregnancy. They are THAT good.
I cannot wait to share the camo ones I just bought. These leggings are incredibly flattering on so many body types. I love that they are high waisted and slimming. They look great with a tee shirt or a cute top. You can dress them up or down. Talk about versatile. E is a HUGE fan, which is saying a lot since he almost never comments on my clothing. If you were thinking about grabbing a pair, you should totally do it. Now is the PERFECT time! They look great tucked into tall boots or booties, and can be worn from fall all the way through winter and into spring. Three seasons of wear. An investment, yes, but TOTALLY worth it!
Unfortunately, my leopard tee is sold out. I linked a few similar options below. I finished the look with my Gucci mules and my go to MZ Wallace purse. The outfit just needed a pop of color! I actually recently added a few new MZ Wallace bags to my collection, and I cannot wait to share them. Their bags are just so easy to wear, and they basically carry my whole life in them. And they come in a variety of styles, colors, and textures!
I might just wear this entire outfit to a birthday party we are attending this weekend! It is totally brewery appropriate right?!
