Looking for a cute new way to display all of your child’s artwork that comes home from school or daycare? I have a few ideas for you!
Since Nathan started going to daycare, at twelve weeks old, we have had artwork come home with him regularly. Initially I struggled with what to do with it all. Then I decided that for Nathan’s first year of life, I would frame all of his artwork for the playroom (side note: I am doing the same thing for Nora’s first year). While I love the way each of the framed pieces turned out, the process of taking each piece to Michaels to get it framed grew tiresome. It also grew to be expensive. I knew that it wasn’t sustainable in the long term. I needed to find a new, more affordable way to display his artwork.
Enter these amazing magnetic hinged picture hangers! When I saw them online, I knew they would be perfect in our kitchen. The wood stain even matches our cabinets! What I love about these is that, because they are magnetic, you can add or remove artwork at any time. When new artwork comes in, I recycle an older piece (or I laminate it if I cannot bring myself to throw it away) to make room for the new piece. It was such an inexpensive way to display the artwork, and it adds so much personality to our kitchen! And Nathan LOVES seeing his artwork hanging. I cannot wait for Nora to bring home her artwork too!
I have linked my picture hangers and a few other cute ways to display your child’s artwork below. If you purchase any of these, please come back and share a photo of the finished product!
