If you have been a What’s For Dinner Esq. reader for a long time, then you know that Thanksgiving is my FAVORITE holiday of the year. Every year, we fly out to Los Angeles to spend it with my family. We are actually heading out a little early this year – we leave tomorrow morning!!!! Eeeeeeeep so excited!
Every year, my mother makes the most AMAZING brined turkey and stuffing, her famous pumpkin bread muffins, and homemade cranberry sauce. A few years ago, my mom found Handle the Heat’s Pumpkin Garlic Knots recipe. She decided to try something new, and I am so happy she did. These pumpkin garlic knots were SUCH A HIT! They have a really nice pumpkin flavor, are light, fluffy, and easy to eat (read: ADDICTIVE), and the garlic packs such a punch. They were such a great addition to our feast. They were officially added to our permanent Thanksgiving menu. I now cannot imagine Thanksgiving dinner without them!
While it is not my recipe, I wanted to link you to it HERE. If you are looking to try something new this year at your Thanksgiving, I HIGHLY recommend you try these Pumpkin Garlic Knots! Scroll down for some pictures of the garlic knots, pre bake, and post bake, slathered with garlic sauce. HOLY YUM.
