With ONLY 6 days left until the first night of Chanukah, it is time to prep for our first night feast! Since moving to New Jersey, E and I have celebrated the first night of Chanukah lighting the menorah, opening presents, and eating a nice dinner with our family. This year is extra special because it is Nora’s first Chanukah. I cannot wait to see her eyes light up when she sees the candles for the first time!
Whenever I host a meal, I ALWAYS use plastic tableware. It makes life SO MUCH EASIER to be able to just throw everything away at the end of the night. No need to wash ANY dishes! A few weeks ago, Chinet sent over a set of their clear dishes, utensils, cups, and stemless wine glasses. Honestly, they are the ONLY brand I use when I host. The weight of their plastic holds up so much better then the alternatives. And it all looks so nice and elegant on the table!
I set the table atop our Gathre tablecloth, which has been one of my favorite purchases of the year! It sits so beautifully on our dining table, and it is so easy to wipe clean. I decorated the table with our menorah, Nathan’s play menorah, and a few dreidels. I love how festive and colorful the tablescape is. It really captures how much fun we have on Chanukah!
Chinet is sold at your local Target and Walmart, so if you are looking to pick up some tableware for your holiday dinner, there is still time!
Thank you Chinet for partnering on this post.
