A few years ago (2021, oops), I had a series on the blog called “My Fave Five.” It was a monthly blog post where I share a few of my favorite restaurants, pieces of clothing, special events etc. It was a lot of fun, and I have been wanting to bring it back, but in a simpler way. So I have done away with my (self imposed) requirement to post my favorites once a month, and will only share when I want too!
Without further adeiu, here are a few of of my recent faves.
Our new(ish) pup, Baxter – Baxter is a rescue pup! He is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, almost three years old, and he was formerly a breeder stud (awful). Now, his days are filled with lounging around the house on all of his favorite sofa cushions. His favorite spot is right next to me. Such a love nugget.
Disposable Film Cameras – I always have one in my purse! Just got two rolls of film back from our trip to Japan and I love how the photos came out! A Japan blog post is coming soon!
July 4th at the Jersey Shore – Stone Harbor and Avalon are my happy place. A week down the shore is good for the soul! I have shared my favorite spots on the blog many times. See here and here. Will be doing an updated post with some new finds soon!
Cute Hermes Lookalike Sandals – These sandals are $20 and SOOOOO comfortable. They go with everything! I have been wearing mine all summer long with shorts, jeans, dresses etc.
Korean Beef Bowls by Damn Delicious – This recipe is always a big hit in my house! And it comes together in less than thirty minutes and is so delicious!
Gap Polka Dot Dress – So fun and comfortable. I wore it to see the Backstreet Boys at the Sphere in Las Vegas. Happy 40th birthday to me!
Umai Omakase in Verona – BEST SUSHI IN NEW JERSEY, hands down. The akami is my favorite bite. I always order multiple pieces!! Eric loves to get their 12 piece omakase. The fish is so fresh!
Working with Sprout Design Lab (not sponsored in any way) – OBSESSED with my Nora necklace using her handwriting. The handwriting is from the first time she wrote her name (a year or two ago).
Publick House in Mountainside – A local favorite, where they have great drinks and delicious food. Fresh fish, shakshuka (only at brunch), truffle fries (I can eat a whole plate of these). Eric loves their burger! Their menu is seasonal and always changing. Also, they make a mean passionfruit margarita.
Donni Rib Kick Flare Pants – I own these pants in three different colors and I am currently contemplating purchasing a fourth. They are THAT GOOD! They run a little small so I suggest sizing up!
