My Blue Sparkly Mules

So…how many of you love a sale? I DO!!!! It took ALL OF THE WILLPOWER IN THE WORLD to NOT shop the Shopbop sale last week. I was SO tempted but I didn’t do it! #soproud

Well…I can’t be that proud of myself. I did buy a few things in February when Shopbop ran the same sale. It was just too good to resist! Two of my favorite purchases from that sale are these blue sparkly mules and this ruffled jersey dress. I had been waiting to break them out until the weather warmed up a bit here in New Jersey. Unfortunately, that hasn’t happened consistently here yet. I did, however, bring both pieces with me to Los Angeles over Passover, and I LIVED in this outfit while we were there. One afternoon while we were in LA, I hopped down to Santa Monica with Stefanie to take some photos and we stumbled upon this adorable home and succulent garden. The owner even let us into her backyard!

The sparkly mules are so comfortable and super fun. I can’t wait to wear them all spring and summer long with jeans, dresses, shorts, and more. Surprisingly, they really go with everything!

This dress is so soft, feminine, and cute. I love the ruffle detail on the back. Talk about business in the front and party in the back! It is the perfect everyday dress and could totally be worn into the office with a blazer layered over it. Here I paired it with my go-to denim jacket. Mine is a few seasons old, but I found a similar one HERE that is affordably priced. Everyone needs a denim jacket! It is such a staple piece in my closet. I love throwing it over dresses all year long.

Hopefully it warms up in New Jersey soon so I can wear this entire outfit again!
