Green with Envy + Nordstrom Gift Card Giveaway

So….it has been a moment since I last posted. Life got HECTIC over the last couple weeks. Between work, Nathan being sick (thank you daycare), my birthday (I turned 33 yesterday!), and our regularly crazy schedules I just couldn’t find time to sit down and write a blog post. Thankfully, last night, after coming home from a DELECTABLE birthday dinner (read: KOSHER STEAK FOR THE WIN), I had a few minutes to sit down and write!

As the temperatures have been warming up here in New Jersey (read: STEAMY HOT), I have been LIVING in dresses. Once I stopped breastfeeding, I rediscovered the dress section of my closet. I have so many great ones! A couple weeks ago, one of my go-to shops, Reformation, was having a SALE. They never have sales so I ordered a TON. This dress was part of my haul. I had been DYING for a green dress to add to my collection. The polka dots and little bows are so feminine, I knew it would look adorable on me. I decided to pair it with my Mother’s Day gift to myself, these cute heeled bow mules. The bows on the shoes really tie nicely together with the bowed sleeves on the dress. This outfit would be perfect for date night or for the office, with a classic black blazer layered over it. I might just wear it into the office tomorrow. Who says you can’t continue the birthday celebrations for an extra day or two…
