Fall Plaid

Today’s blog post is inspired by Samantha Wennerstrom of Could I Have That? Yes…I was influenced. I have followed her and her blog for a LONG time, and I am a HUGE fan! She has such an easygoing, boho style, and her daughter, Elin, is super cute (and has the most enviable wardrobe). Every time Samantha wears something new, I want it.

A few weeks ago, she was wearing this plaid top by DÔEN, and I knew I needed to have it. I am REALLY into plaid for fall. So I did the impulsive thing and ordered it immediately (in addition to this sweater that is arriving in October – OMG IT IS SO GOOD). Unfortunately, it has been a little hot and humid here in New Jersey, so I wasn’t able to wear it out until this past Monday, when temperatures dipped into the 60s and low 70s. The colors are perfect for fall, the fabric is so soft, and the top is flowy and forgiving. I tucked it into my favorite pair of J Brand denim and threw on my most comfortable pair of suede loafers (from a few seasons ago) and I was all set! I know it will also look great underneath my leather jacket, under a chunky cardigan, or under my winter coat.

I cannot wait to wear this entire look on repeat this fall! If it isn’t too hot, I might wear this exact outfit while apple and pumpkin picking this weekend!
