Our Thanksgiving Table

As I mentioned last week, we hosted a small Friendsgiving feast at our home a few weekends ago. It was so fun to decorate our new dining room, seen HERE, for Thanksgiving.

My decor inspiration came from the colors of the fall, including burnt orange (recently obsessed) and red. Thankfully for my wallet, we were able to reuse some of our decor from last years Friendsgiving, including our tablecloth and our ceramic pumpkin (linked similar options below). I did include a couple of new items. I just couldn’t resist!

My favorite new addition to the table this year was these nesting houses from the Hearth and Hand Magnolia line at Target. Are you as obsessed with Joanna Gaines as I am?! They are super cute, affordable, and you can reuse them as decor in another part of your home after Thanksgiving. I usually have them displayed on our entry way console.

Last year, we used our real dishes for Friendsgiving. After spending a LONG time loading the dishwasher and hand washing several pieces, I vowed I would only use paper and plastic in the future. It just makes everything easier to clean up afterwards. My mother-in-law picked up these adorable plates and napkins from our local Christmas Tree Shop. They always have the best holiday decor at amazing prices!

To tie everything together, I added some fresh flowers to the table. While not exactly in sync with our color scheme, the peach roses really complemented the rest of the decor. I am so happy with how the entire table came together. We had such a great time entertaining friends in our home. We have so much to be thankful for this year! I hope our Friendsgiving tablescape provides a little inspiration for your Thanksgiving table.

I wish you and your family a HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
