This year, I decided to get ahead of holiday (i.e. Chanukah) present shopping and buy as many presents as I could before Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and all of the craziness that ensues thereafter. I know that sounds a little cuckoo, but there are so many great deals right now! And many of those deals are at Kohl’s!
If I am being honest, I wasn’t the biggest Kohl’s shopper before they reached out about this collaboration opportunity. Growing up in Los Angeles, I just didn’t really know or hear about them much. There is no Kohl’s store location in Los Angeles proper. Since they reached out, though, I have been shopping at Kohl’s basically NON-STOP (much to E’s chagrin – he is NOT a fan of all of the big boxes that keep showing up and blocking his garage door #oops). They have such AMAZING prices on just about everything! And they have an amazing selection of kids and baby toys! When they reached out regarding a holiday toys collaboration I JUMPED at chance because they carry so many of my favorite brands, including Fisher Price (the gold standard when it comes to childrens toys), Melissa & Doug (I LOVE their educational toys), Lego (because all little kids love Legos), Hot Wheels, Disney and more. I stocked up on a bunch of great gifts for Nathan for Chanukah! This is the first year he will actually appreciate Chanukah and all of the presents. I cannot wait to see his face when he opens all of his presents! I bought everything online and it was delivered straight to my door. If I was in more of a rush, though, I would have used their purchase online and pickup in store option. It is so convenient!
Nathan got a sneak peek at his haul last week when Lauren came to shoot everything. He was so excited he couldn’t contain himself. The Melissa & Doug Playful Pets Hand Puppets were a HUGE hit. I cannot wait to put on little shows with them! He also couldn’t get enough of the Fisher Price Batman Wheelies Ride On Car. He would have opened the box and rode it around the house if I let him! Ever since we visited the Liberty Science Center, Nathan has been really into dinosaurs so I knew he would love this Melissa & Doug Dinosaur Puzzle. He will probably just dump the pieces out everywhere, but it will make him laugh and that is worth it! He is also really into blocks right now, so I know he will love the Lego Duplo My First Animal Train. E can’t wait to built it with him (and then watch Nathan take it all apart). I felt so bad putting everything away after the shoot, but he has to wait until Chanukah to really open everything!
If you are looking for some great baby and kids toys for the holidays I suggest you check out Kohl’s! You will be amazed by their prices (and the Kohl’s Cash)!!!
Thank you Kohl’s for sponsoring this post.
