When I walked out of my house to shoot this outfit with Lauren, she laughed and said, “this is THE quintessential Jessica outfit.” I couldn’t help but laugh because she was right! I love a comfy striped dress! I probably have 10 in my closet. They are just so easy to throw on, and they always look cute! I most frequently wear them with a denim jacket and sneakers (or flats), as styled here. It is the perfect casual outfit! While my striped dress is sold out, I have linked a similar style here for you. Both the dress and denim jacket are reasonably affordable. Especially when they go on sale!
I paired this look with a new pair of sneakers from Naturalizer. Naturalizer reached out during the last few months of my pregnancy with an offer to send me a few pairs of shoes. They were the first brand to make shoes specifically designed to fit the contours of a woman’s foot. I had heard that their shoes were incredibly comfortable, so I jumped at the chance to try them. I picked three pairs of shoes, including these sneakers. They have quickly become my favorite pair! I always get compliments when I wear them. When I tell people that they are from Naturalizer, they are so surprised. They always respond, “those look designer!” I love that they are dressier then a pair of Nike’s or Adidas.
I finished the outfit with my newest go-to bag! Every mom needs an big everyday tote bag in their life. You know, the one that is like the Mary Poppins never ending bag of EVERYTHING. My new tote is this soft tote from MZ Wallace. It is big enough to fit all of my essentials, including my wallet, camera, keys, and phone, in addition to ALL of my diaper bag essentials (TONS of diapers, wipes, two changes of clothes, changing pad, swaddle blanket, and snacks). And it is so light. If you are in the market for a new tote, you should definitely consider MZ Wallace!
