E and I LOVE celebrating the Fourth of July with a BIG BBQ. When we purchased our home two years ago, one of the first things we purchased for the house was a grill! We love to grill all summer long! This year we are hoping to host a few friends for the Fourth and we will be stocking up on ALL of our BBQ essentials at Stop & Shop. There is a Stop & Shop in Westfield, New Jersey, the next town over from Springfield. We shop there all the time! They have EVERYTHING you could possibly need to host a Fourth of July BBQ.
E, Nathan, Nora and I headed over to Stop & Shop on Sunday morning to stock up on everything BBQ. We were able to do all of our shopping for the week and for our BBQ at the same time. We picked up ground turkey for turkey burgers, turkey london broil, kosher hot dogs, corn on the cob, pre-chopped vegetables with skewers, chips, salsa, paper goods, plastic utensils, mini patriotic donuts, and Neapolitan ice cream sandwiches (Nathan’s favorite item in the basket). All the makings of a great American BBQ.
Once we drove everything home and unloaded the car, we were BBQ ready within an hour. All I had to do was assemble the vegetable kabobs, season the turkey meat and form it into burgers, slice some tomatoes and start the grill! While I was prepping the food and grilling, E set the table in paper and plastic. Everything came together so quickly! We cannot wait to celebrate the Fourth of July this year with friends and family with Stop & Shop! Our one stop shop!
