A few weeks before I was set to go back to work after giving birth to Nora, Julia from Lemon Stripes BLEW MY MIND when she was wearing these workout pants as regular pants. She wore them out to an event with a cute top and heels, and she looked adorable! I knew right then and there that I needed to go and try them on. So the very next day, Nora and I headed to the mall! I tried them on, and was sold immediately. They are light, comfortable, and actually look like real work pants. I bought three pair, two in black and one in navy!
Since going back to work, I wear them almost every day! Just last week I added a fourth pair, a beautiful olive green, to my closet. They have been especially great over the last few weeks as New Jersey has heated up for summer. They don’t stick to your skin as soon as you walk outside into the oppressing and balmy humidity that exists here. While I love my leggings, these pants are a nice chance of pace.
I have been pairing my new fave pants with a variety of tops from Loft. When Loft has a big sale, I pick up one or two new ones to keep my closet fresh. They are usually machine washable, and hold up well from wash to wash. I have a few of their tops in my closet that are several years old! To add a little something extra to the outfit, I decided to finally try out these pearl hair clips that everyone has been raving out. They are ONLY $6 and are super cute!
Throw on a sweater blazer (I have this one in 3 colors) and you have yourself the most comfortable work outfit ever!
