By now, I am sure you have noticed my affinity for personalized jewelry. I wear between three and four pieces of personalized jewelry every single day. For me, jewelry is more meaningful when it is personalized and/or tells a story. I frequently get questions about where my jewelry is from, so I decided it would be best to do a full blog post to share my favorite pieces and where you can get them! So here goes….
My “N” Initial Necklace – This necklace is one of my ALL-TIME favorite pieces from Ariel Gordon. The initial necklace was part of Ariel’s first collections. Unfortunately she has stopped making this particular one. I bought mine just after Nathan was born during one of her FAMOUS archive sales. I literally NEVER take it off. I sleep with it, shower with it, go in the pool with it, etc. I was very lucky that we ended up naming Nora an “n” name. Otherwise I would have had to BEG Ariel to make me a matching initial for her. I HOPE that Ariel comes out with another version of the initial necklace soon!
My Name Rings – After my engagement ring and wedding bands, these rings with my children’s names engraved into them are probably my most precious pieces. I received each of them as a “push present” after each of them were born. I wear them every single day. Every time I look down at them, they make me smile and think of them.
My Initial Cuff Ring (c/o) – When Isabelle Grace Jewelry reached out and offered to send a piece of jewelry to me, I was VERY excited. I chose this ring because I was able to include the initials of my most favorite people: E, Nathan, and Nora.
My Initial Ring – vintage (similar HERE) – My mother received a gold wrap around ring with her initials from her parents for her sweet sixteen. She stopped wearing it years ago, so one time when I was in LA, I asked if I could have it and she happily obliged. I wear it almost every day. Even though my grandparents didn’t gift me the ring, I somehow feel connected to them by wearing it.
My Medallion – I purchased this piece for myself after closing on a big deal at work. Every once in a while you need to #treatyoself. I loved the vintage look and the chunky chain. I had the medallion engraved with E’s nickname for me, “Jess”.
My Locket – This is my newest piece. Even newer then my Nora ring. When I saw that two of my favorites (Ariel Gordon and Taylor Sterling) were collaborating on a piece of jewelry, I just knew I needed to have it. The locket felt delicate and feminine. I knew it would layer nicely with the rest of my necklaces. I had the back of the locket engraved with the word “Mine,” and I have pictures of E and the kids inside. I love keeping them close to my heart.
