Fall Jeans Day with Sadie James Boutique

A few weekends ago I drove down to one of my FAVORITE boutiques, Sadie James Boutique, to do a little fall shopping. Chelsea, the owner, had been teasing their fall arrivals on Instagram (click HERE and give them a follow) the few weeks prior, and I was OBSESSED with every single piece. I knew it was time to go and try it all on! Chelsea always picks new and interesting pieces from great brands.

When I arrived, I was OVERWHELMED by how many pieces I wanted to try on. I probably took 25 different items into the dressing room. I started with denim. I had been wanting a new pair of denim for fall and instantly fell in love with these MOTHER jeans. I thought the “Made You Look” inscription on the butt pocket was funny. They fit like a glove and suck you in in all of the right places. Two things you always want your denim to do! Especially when you are 7 months postpartum!

Next came sweaters. Lets just say that I felt every single sweater in the entire store, and THIS sweater was the softest of them all. It is a DREAM! The fact that it says BONJOUR on it made it even more of a must-have in my eyes. I have been dying for a trip to Paris (HINT HINT E) for years! While a trip to the City of Love isn’t in the cards right now, a cute Parisian-style sweater most definitely is! I have been waiting for the weather to cool down just enough so I can wear it. And it finally looks like I am going to get my opportunity! Today the high temperature in New Jersey is only in the mid 60’s. That is sweater weather to me!

I finished the look with my go to every day bag from MZ Wallace and navy flats. I love the way the bag brings out the red in my sweater and jeans!
