Our Favorite Fall Books For Kids

Last year, I picked up a few Fall and Halloween-inspired books for Nathan. I wanted him to get into the spirit of the season through stories and pictures, of course! They became FAST favorites. He would ask me to read Spooky Pookie AND Slumberkins Mr. Bones EVERY NIGHT! All while he would cuddle Vlad, his little vampire! After Thanksgiving last year, I put the books away for safe keeping.

This year, I couldn’t wait to take them out again! I actually ordered a few new books to add to our collection, including, EEk! Halloween!, How Do Apples Grow?, Goodbye Summer, Hello Autumn, and Duck & Goose Find a Pumpkin.

On the first day of fall, it felt like just the right time to bring them out. I displayed them in our new playroom “library.” I cannot wait to read them all with Nathan and Nora over the next few months. I have a feeling we will be reading A LOT about acorns, apples, pumpkins, and Pookie!
