A few weeks ago I was wandering around The Mall at Short Hills on my lunch hour, as one does, and I walked by Madewell and saw this top (ON SALE!) on one of their mannequins in the window. It stopped me in my tracks. It looked so cute and it made me REALLY excited for fall. So I walked in and tried it on. Thankfully, the top was as flattering on me as it was on the mannequin!
While the colors are most definitely fall colors (they have been TAKING OVER my wardrobe #gimmealltheearthtones), the top is actually quite light, so I have been able to wear it through the last weeks of summer with shorts and then transition it into fall by wearing it with pants, jeans, and leggings. This top has been getting A LOT of wear over the last few weeks. I have worn it to work paired with black leggings and these cropped black pants, seen here. I have also worn it out on the weekends paired with these jeans. It is so versatile!
Here, I finished the look with a pair of camel flats that I bought a few years back, and this cute knotted headband (I also have it in black). This outfit would be perfect for apple picking, a fall date night, or just because!
