Since the beginning of our quarantine in March, I’ve been making a real effort to get dressed every day. No pajamas all day for me! I feel that getting dressed helps with my productivity and my attitude. Just because I am getting dressed, though, doesn’t mean I can’t be comfortable.
For years, I have seen Dudley Stephens fleeces ALL OVER my Instagram feed. I feel like everyone I follow owns at least one of their fleeces. Dudley Stephens is a woman-owned Connecticut based brand. I love that they are nearby! They use sustainable and recycled fabrics to create their products, and ALL of their products are made in the USA.
Dudley Stephens actually just celebrated their 5th anniversary as a brand last week! I knew there had a be a reason for ALL of the Dudley madness. It was about time for me to find out!
I decided that quarantine was FINALLY the time to take the plunge and order a fleece. Their fleeces are a little pricey, so that is why I held off on ordering for so long. Thankfully, they were running a promo so I got a little bit of a discount. After much deliberation and online window shopping, I ordered the Brighton Boatneck Vello Fleece in Camel. I knew the camel would pair well with a lot of what I already have in my closet! I ordered a small, and it fits PERFECTLY. I would definitely say that they run true to size.
Having LIVED in my fleece since it arrived in March, I now TOTALLY understand why people are so obsessed with their Dudley Stephens fleece! The quality is fantastic. They are SO SOFT, and can be worn casually or more dressed up. And they wash really well (though we do hang dry it)! Here, I paired my fleece with a pair of black denim and my favorite black booties. You could also wear them with leggings or joggers. It is such a great everyday staple!
