Homemade Garlic Hummus Recipe

I don’t know about you, but I get a lot of my foodspiration from my friends and coworkers. Today’s garlic hummus recipe was inspired by one of my weekly work meetings. Every single week, during a meeting, one of my coworkers (you know who you are) eats Pretzel Crisps and hummus. And every single week I am EXTREMELY JEALOUS. Hummus is one of my favorite spreads!

Last week I decided it was FINALLY time to get me some Pretzel Crisps from Costco. You better believe I ordered the jumbo bag via Google Express (get $10 to spend HERE). Unfortunately, Costco via Google Express will not deliver hummus. Sad face. Thankfully, I had a can of chickpeas and some tahini in my pantry, so I decided to make my own garlic hummus recipe! I added a few cloves of garlic to the mix because, well, everything is better with garlic. It added a nice spice!

That night, E and I ate over half of the hummus. It was SO GOOD. Yesterday I brought in some of the hummus to eat during my meeting. To say that this garlic hummus recipe was satisfying would be a huge understatement!
