IT IS TIME!!! Time to FINALLY put away our winter coats and break out the spring coats! Yes, spring coats are a thing. On the East Coast, anyway…
When it comes to coats of any kind (winter, spring, or otherwise), my first stop is always Barbour. To me, Barbour is the quintessential British brand. I remember seeing them on EVERYONE when I studied abroad in London during my junior year of college. You may have seen their coats on Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh. While they are definitely an investment, the quality of Barbour coats is above all other brands. They are well made and long lasting. I bought my first Barbour coat when I was in college back in 2003, and I still wear it to this day! I have since purchased three other Barbour coats, two of which I have featured on the blog HERE and HERE.
To say I am a fan of the brand would be an understatement. So when Barbour offered to outfit E and me with his and her jackets for Spring, I was giddy with excitement! They sent me one of their classic waxed cotton coats and they sent E a lightweight waterproof jacket. I even convinced E to pose for some family shots in our new coats with Lauren. We have been wearing our his and hers jackets NON-STOP since they arrived. They are the perfect light layering pieces to keep warm on these brisk Spring days. Oh, those coats are really nice! I always look for a good Spring coat, the cooler nights can surprise you after a warm 70-degree day!
