A Review of Two Blogger Beauty Favorites

After seeing ALL OF THE BLOGGERS on Instagram rave about the Tula Glow & Get It Cooling and Brightening Eye Balm and Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask, I decided to finally give them both a try. When that many people say good things about a product, then it must be good, right?

I have been using both products for a little over six months now. I have used them both every single day during that time. I am finally ready to review both products. Scroll down to check them out!

Tula Glow & Get It Cooling and Brightening Eye Balm

Over the last few years, I have had the pleasure of trying several Tula products. Some I have liked, and some I haven’t. I never had the opportunity to try the Tula Glow & Get It Cooling and Brightening Eye Balm. Every single blogger I know loves this product. It is probably one of THE most heavily promoted products I have ever seen. That being said, I wanted to try it for myself.

Over the last six months, I have incorporated the Balm into my morning beauty routine. It the very LAST product I use before I am ready for the day. I use it after I have have already applied my toner, moisturizer (review HERE), face oil (review HERE), and Vitamin C serum.

The Balm truly delivers on its promise to cool and brighten. I love the cooling sensation that it leaves when applied. I have found that it helps with puffiness. I also really love the shine that it gives to my eyes. I do rub it in a little bit though. Otherwise I would have a glittery shine under and over my eyes. Everyone needs a little pick me up in the morning, and the Balm (in addition to one or two cups of coffee) is mine!

VERDICT: 10/10, WORTH IT

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask

I have REALLY dry lips, especially during the winter months. So when I saw so many positive reviews for the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask, I thought, why not give it a try. It couldn’t hurt!

I have been using it every night, just before bed. While the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask does instantly provide some moisture to my lips, I haven’t found that it provides any lasting moisture or any more moisture then Aquaphor (my personal favorite #accutanesurvivor). Which is kind of a bummer. I REALLY wanted to like the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask but, unfortunately, it was a no-go for me.

VERDICT: 6/10, NOT WORTH IT
