DIY Personalized Valentine’s Day Gift Bags

While I was scouring Target’s Bullseye’s Playground & Dollar Spot for ideas for Valentine’s Day, I found these adorable canvas pouches for $3 each. I knew they would be the perfect bag to hold all of the kiddos’ Valentine’s Day goodies. Unfortunately, they do not sell the canvas pouches online. I was able to find similar ones at Michael’s, though, and I linked them HERE.

I initially thought about just leaving the pouches plain, but then I remembered that I had some fabric markers that I bought over the summer to decorate our tie dye creations. Why not personalize and decorate the pouches a bit? I had to go to Michael’s anyway to pick up a framed photo so, while I was there, I picked up a pack of stencils. I decided to personalize the pouches with each kiddo’s name and a heart. It couldn’t be hard right?! Thankfully, it was SO EASY! Well…except for the spacing. There was a little bit of a learning curve on that.

I finished the pouches in 10 minutes, and they are ADORABLE! I cannot wait to surprise them with their Valentine’s Day pouches on February 1st!
