I know what you must be thinking… Isn’t it a little early to be thinking about Halloween. It is only mid-August, right? Well…yes, it is a wee bit early. BUT, I have a very good reason for it!
The VERY IMPORTANT reason I am posting about Halloween NOW is because brands have JUST released their Halloween pajamas for kids, and they sell out SO QUICKLY! I snagged some from The Children’s Place for Nathan and Nora, and I CANNOT WAIT to surprise them with them. The kiddos LOVE Halloween! What’s not to like? There is candy galore, fun pajamas, costumes, trick or treating, and hanging out with friends!
Last year, I bought the kiddos’ Halloween pajamas at Carter’s, and they were such a big hit! They actually still fit (just barely), and they still wear them.
Instead of doing Boo Baskets this year (see mine from last year HERE), I plan on gifting the kiddos their Halloween pajamas, a little stuffed bat, and a plastic spider on October 1st. I will also break out ALL of our favorite Halloween kids books, including Spooky Pookie and Bonaparte Falls Apart! I think we have 15-20 different ones.
Nathan is excited for the day that Frank (his skeleton friend pictured below) can come out to play! Frank hangs out in the garage until October 1st as well.
I cannot wait to celebrate Halloween all month long!
